According to South Africa…Indonesia becomes a member in 2023…not 2025. But Indonesia only wanted to be officially announced after the new Indonesian President took place
@FrostWing-k5u
Long story short, Indonesia’s membership was approved at the Johannesburg Summit in August 2023 but waited after the presidential election to formally accept the invitation.

Hope that Indonesia can be as strong as Iran, Russia, China in facing its biggest challenges. Seperatist movements funded by America, incitement of hatred between religions masterminded by the CIA, NGOs funded by USAID to incite division. Indonesia must be ready to face obstacles, disturbances, threats and challenges (HGAT: hambatan, gangguan, ancaman dan tantangan) in the unipolar vs multipolar battle.

Since Independent, Indonesia actively seek other option than western new colonization, thats why we try gather newly Independent and will become independent countries in Bandung confrence, then our President got CIA regime change,
then in 2000 our President Gus Dur trying to make better leverage to western new colonization with idea of Indonesia, India and China economic axis, as results the President get CIA regime change too….
with this recent move hopefully we can make better preperation and avoiding CIA regime change…. and joint the BRICS to unite global south
we need to end western “divide and conquer” in global south……

Diplomatify, A timely video from you. I was wondering why Indonesia got this jump by being immediately accepted as a full member. Hope Malaysia, will too, be a BRICS full member soon. Can you also explain why Singapore rejected BRICS?
Undeniably, Indonesia is the de facto leader of ASEAN by virtue of its huge land size and population size.
