The recent reported delivery of Western F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine will not have a significant impact on the battlefield and Kiev must be aware of this, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Thursday.
“These planes will appear, their number will gradually decrease, they will be shot down and destroyed,” the Russian presidential spokesman said. The jets “will not be able to significantly influence the dynamics of events at the front,” Peskov added. – RT

Konstantinovka:: the definition of insanity is repeating the same action and expecting a different result. What the Ukrainian conflict confirmed is that the WWII armored vehicles attacks are not working anymore, but sending motorbikes assault works as well as sending sabotage groups way behind to cut logistic and impose the defensive force to split their attention weakening the front. We could even imagine thar logistic can be carried by motorbikes to the sabotage groups. Why such tactics who proved efficiency and allowed to reduce casualties are not used? I am speechless. War is now conducted with the head, not as a barbarian bull!

A Su-35S combat aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter at a distance b It is reported that the enemy aircraft did not return to its airfield. It was destroyed by a Russian ultra-long-range air-to-air missile R-37M, which covered a record distance of 213 kilometers. This is the second prisoner exchange since the mid-Feb 2022 –not the first. The previous exchange was for arms dealer that the US had arrested in Thailand then extradited to DC where he was jailed for 25 yrs in return for the US basketball player sentenced in Russia for drug smuggling.

This will be the first time in history for F-16s to encounter the Mordan Air Defense System. Ukraine is already confident in labeling them a game changer. They previously lauded NATO artillery shells as a game changer, but saw their accuracy drop from 90% to 5%, rendering them ineffective

The big fish in this exchange operation is Krasikov. Germany had been very very reluctant to release him, and that delayed the exchange for several months.

F16 combat means they are used to hunt straight flying drones far from combat lines. They are forbidden to go within 50km of the enemy
