By Military Summary
This video describes the military situation in Ukraine on the 19th of August 2024.
Here’s what others had to say:
@stlouisix1
Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky would not have attacked Russia’s Kursk Region unless he had direct orders from the US, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.
“Listen, this is childish babble,” Lavrov said. “Everyone understands perfectly well that Zelensky would never have decided on this if the United States had not instructed him to do this.” – RT
@stlouisix1
“Ukes don’t want to attack civilians and residential areas?” Hell, that’s all they’ve been doing which started this war and continues to date through it!
@Peacewar2020
Am enjoying reading pro Ukrainian comments on various channels. Reminds me of the 2023 super duper dash to the Azov sea
@КристианОпаиц
I like how Zelenskiy wats to trade losses in Pokrovsk direction by capturing Kursk, when it’s all late and the offensive is the same as in the Volchansyk: The more you advance – The more losses you suffer.
@Anvil.
Ive said it for 3yrs and will keep saying i am a person born and living in the UK 57yrs and will never apologise for supporting Russia and the military decisions.

There is no glory to be had in dying for Western Interest conjured up by policymakers of Aspen and Rand Corporation

Why Dima do not report about massive surrender of UKR soldiers in last two days on Kursk front, more then 200 soldiers surrendered on direct line of contact, and they are all saying the same thing in videos, how they were dropped by combat vehicles and forget on their positions, they lost communication with command in back, last time when they manage to have contact, they were told to hold positions and to loot for food and water, if they decide to withdraw back, they would all go to marshal court and be shot for treason.
So many videos on Telegram and on YT even you can find about this weekend surrenders from UKR soldiers, but nothing about that here.
@juansantana8448
Unless they surrender, not a single Ukrainian soldier should be allowed to escape.
@badwolftx2139
Once Pokrovsk falls, the Russians can outflank the AFU anywhere along the line of combat contact.

“Medvedev Predicted the Disappearance of Ukraine by 2034.” This is not near the end of this war, we are now at the end of the beginning

Kursk is a good propaganda victory, it’s a strategic loss however, they lose their best men and equipment coming out into the open to fight against young kids who just got drafted and old men who were part of the territorial defense. They do this while the are forced to abandon heavily entrenched positions due to lack of men and armor. This makes even less sense than their last offensive. If the had used their men and equipment to push back Russians around Avdiivka and other areas they might have held out longer and it would have cost a lot more Russian lives to take them, and it would have take a ton of well trained forces to do it too. This was a failure on the part of Russia, it led to this propaganda victory and a bunch of young Russian men who weren’t drafted to fight in the war were killed and captured. However, propaganda doesn’t win wars, neither does losing your best men and equipment fighting against the least trained solders of your enemy. And even against their least trained, they still lost more men than Russia, who did a good job of pulling back while inflicting high casualties. I’m not even so sure it’s a propaganda victory, because it gets both sides more ready to fight and overall that probably means more Russians who will sign up to fight than Ukrainians. Eventually the Ukrainians will be kicked out, which will hurt morale, meanwhile the Russians will still be ticked off that they invaded this region and will be looking for revenge.

“I AM NOT A TRAITOR” – AMERICAN FIGHTING FOR RUSSIA TELLS HIS STORY: veteran who served 10 years in U.S. air force now battles U.S-funded Ukraine in trenches side by side with Russians as Will from Boston reveals why he thinks Washington and Moscow aren’t at war.
@RudyRankov
As the Kiev aka NATO will TRY to accomplish their goals. But AS USUAL the Kiev forces will DIE TRYING.
@spetsru2906
Ukraine “don’t want to attack civilians or residential”…. are you kidding, have you not witnessed exactly that from their side, before anyone even evacuated? Based on what they have done since 2014 in Donbas and LPR, i would not bat an eye at that statement.
@gorgeousgeorge5173
If a peace agreement were to be discussed, would Russia be talking to US officials? Zelenskyy is an illegit leader.
@danieloehler2494
And half the USA is asking: Could you clean the shop lifting mess in New York? And would you give us back New York and take California instead? We would pay some Billion Dollar for this.

Very odd too that Syrsky chose Kursk. At least we believe it was that Russian’s choice. Let’s remember ” The Battle of Kursk was the largest tank battle in history, involving some 6,000 tanks, 2,000,000 troops, and 4,000 aircraft. It marked the decisive end of the German offensive capability on the Eastern Front and cleared the way for the great Soviet offensives of 1944–45.” Now why would Syrsky choose that particular place for an invasion of Russia, following upon that historic scenario ? It is very strange. The invasers of Russia have never won. Russia has always won against them. Yet a Rusian chose to order Ukraine forces to invade Russia and attack at Kursk ? Shall we conclude Syrsky is stark raving mad ? That is one possibility.
