The Heat No Retaliatory Strike Ukraine Have Broken The Qatar Agreements Military Summary 2024.08.24
By Military Summary
This video describes the military situation in Ukraine on the 24th of August 2024.
Here’s what others had to say:
@volkardlokisson6292
Looks like Ukrainian trolls are brigading the comments. If they’d fight half as hard on the ground as they do online then they wouldn’t have lost so much territory!
@annkristoff4303
That’s not humiliating to Russia. That’s humiliating to the Europe, that their word AND signature is meaningless.
@kevinallies1014
So the Russians didn’t do what NATO wanted them to do? I am shocked, shocked I tell you.
@knutvreb6506
It’s not strange, Dima.. The Russians are calculated, not impulsive like some others in the room. They will do what they consider most constructive for their goals. Showing rage by attacking Ukraine on their independence day will probably not promote the Russian position internationally.
@TheModesOfBeing
To be fair, a stalled offensive in a load of farmland in Kursk, and losing town after town in Donbass is probably a bit more humiliating for Ukraine.

Update on the conflict in Ukraine for August 25, 2024…
– Western media admits Ukraine has dangerously overextended itself through its Kursk incursion;
– Western media claims Russia is unable to use glide bombs in Kursk because of poor “air-control systems,” however, glide bombs are used primarily to break heavy fortifications which the Western media admits Ukraine is not building in Kursk;
– Despite claims that Russia’s response was “disjointed,” Ukraine’s Kursk operation has become a liability, costing it irreversibly lost territory along the actual line of contact;
– The more territory Ukraine attempts to hold in Kursk, the more troops and equipment it must divert from the actual line of contact;
– Western media reports admit that Russian progress in the Donbass has accelerated since the Kursk incursion began;
– Ukraine is not building the type of fortifications required to hold onto Kursk in the long-term with Western officials/analysts admitting that once Russia brings in sufficient reinforcements, uprooting Ukraine is inevitable;
– US military assistance to Ukraine continues to shrink, with the most recent package featuring the same items (without quantities noted) as previous packages, suggesting the US is drawing from its insufficient monthly production; – The New Atlas

Seems to me guys the reason Russia didn’t do anything special is simply that they don’t have too. Unlike Ukraine the Russians concern themselves with advances on the ground – not posting messages on Telegram etc.
@apostolosderakis9840
Moving from “the whole world is helping us” to “f**k, we were manipulated and dying in someone else’s war game” is … (complete the sentence as you think)
@mckeeasdf
One of the rules of conflict:
Never be predictable, unless it suits you. Always keep them guessing.
@achillesheel7314
There is no glory to be had in dying for Western Interest conjured up by policymakers of Aspen and Rand Corporation.
@antyspi4466
This time Dima has gone completely off the rails. While Dima is asking why the Russians didn´t conduct a huge missile attack on Ukraine and mainly makes the capture of Russian conscripts from the Kursk region out as the reason, the question is rather: Why should bomb Ukraine at all on this day? Just because it is the Ukrainian independence day? Wasting precious material on fireworks just to appear as the evil empire, while NATO politicians are in Kiev and a prisoner exchange is taking place?
Today would indeed have been the worst day to bomb Ukraine, because everybody was expecting it and was on high alert. The Russians will bomb Ukraine when they think they get the most value for their strikes in military terms, not in political terms. The few captured Russian conscripts are definetely not high value hostages that Ukraine can use to squeeze any concession they want out of the Russians.
Dima reads too many novels with super complicated plots.
@Princip666
Budanov decided to celebrate independence day by sending another group of his elite cannon fodder to Snake island. They all disappeared in a series of huge explosions, presumably due to not following safety instructions while handling fireworks, as the instructions were in French.
@hanshirzel4156
Russia is letting the fear grow, and the nerves of the enemies suffer, before taking action. In my opinion it’s not possible to humiliate Mr. Putin. He is leader of the only rational thinking party in this conflict.
@clivewakley3901
It must now be clear that the Ukies are struggling and failing to hold onto their gains in Kursk – but Zelensky still insists on pouring more men and machines into what is an entirely pointless battle. Pathetic really dudes.
@williammorris584
This fixation on anniversaries and symbolic dates is the purest idiocy imaginable. Striking when the enemy has reason to be in a heightened state of readiness would be childish wastefulness.
@zani1106
Remember the Russian soldier that headbutted the Ukrainian FPV drone and walked away?
Well he is fine, but he did receive some injuries – the helmet absorbed most of the impact, but he was still injured. He was also wounded in the left shoulder blade — a fragment got stuck near his spine, and two fragments from a Polish mine lodged in his right shin.
However he did make it back to his unit where he received first aid, now he is waiting for surgery to remove the fragment from his spine, but he is out of danger.
33-year-old Mikhail from the Voronezh region, fought in Donbas in 2014-2015. In July 2024, he volunteered for the special military operation, fighting in an assault unit.
@patmalone4559
Russia unlike Ukraine and NATO generally do not want to harm the common Ukrainian. The SMO is not about killing civilians it’s about destroying the AFU. Every thing Ukraine do militarily speeds their certain defeat up!
@borispetrovchich3141
The general HQs of Russia’s army just issued a sincere apology to vice admiral Duma for not launched missile attack as he predicted
@dgo4490
I didn’t expect a strike, why would Russia play into provocations, or give any credence to ukro independence, when there’s no such thing, and it is 100% dependent on nato for everything. The best move for Russia is to stay on course, rather than give in to deterring provocations.
@truffeldebuffel4750
Emotions of revenge are not good advisors. Also Russia doesn’t want to kill civilians! One of the reasons they go fairly slow.
@cristianmorstabilini7826
NATO Money NATO Weapons NATO satellites NATO instructors NATO solders but the Offensive Is Ukrainian
@user-ek9vh5ny8v
Your commentary about missile strike is kind of dumb honestly Can you just report on actual developments on the battlefield? Thanks.
@ricardocarlitos
In total, the Ukrainian armed forces lost 5,137 servicemen, 69 tanks, 27 infantry fighting. vehicles, 55 armored personnel carriers, 350 armored combat vehicles, 158 vehicles, 34 artillery pieces, five anti-aircraft missile systems, 11 multiple rocket launchers, including three HIMARS and one MLRS, six electronic warfare stations, and four pieces of engineering equipment. Mr Dima… This is news! Not the ucr propaganda about the are winning in kursk
@greatmartini1
Maybe the retaliatory strike didn’t happen because Putin doesn’t want to fight the Ukrainian people. By him not striking, the people can focus their hate on the person who got them into this war, Zelenskyy.
@bigdjn42
More nonsensical speculation about missile strike, of course you got it wrong. Stick to updating the map. you are demonstrating your silly personal speculation about agreements and missile strikes with no inside knowledge. What humiliation are you talking about, this is all in your head.
