Apple has just released a new, urgent statement — saying that by the end of this month, they will permanently delete the photos of millions of their users.
The reason for this move, is that it appears like Apple is trying to funnel more of their customers towards the iCloud service.
However, you might look at this situation and say: “Wait a minute… how safe are my photos in the Apple iCloud? Do they have the capabilities to scan my photos whenever they like?”
And the answer to that question is technically yes: they have the capability. Because you see, about a year and a half ago, Apple released a detailed plan about how they were going to scan the photos of every single iPhone within the United States.
