Russell Brand’s Youtube Channel has been demonetized amidst the allegations of rape and sexual assault.
His channel has over 6.6 million subscribers and generates almost $1 million annually through ads alone.
The reason YouTube gave: “If a creator’s off-platform behavior harms our users, employees, or ecosystem, we take action to protect the community.”
Despite not being found guilty, his YouTube monetization has come to an end.
Why should YouTube determine someone’s guilt?
