A Detailed “Kellogg Plan” has been Released, Outlining the Trump Administration’s Approach to Resolving the War in Ukraine
By DD Geopolitics
The plan was drafted in April 2024, but recently Trump appointed Kellogg as the U.S. special envoy to Ukraine.
The key points are as follows:
➡️Establish diplomatic relations with Moscow and stop the “demonization” of Putin.
➡️Peace talks. Pressure Ukraine and Russia to agree on a ceasefire and start negotiations.
➡️Incentives for Russia. Delay Ukraine’s NATO membership for 10 years. Allow Russia to retain occupied territories. Gradual lifting of sanctions and normalization of relations with the U.S. on the condition of a peace agreement acceptable to Ukraine.
➡️Support for Ukraine. Continued military aid and bilateral security guarantees. Ukraine does not need to officially recognize Russian control over territories, but it must refrain from changing the status quo by force.
➡️Pressure on Kiev. Potentially halt U.S. military aid if Ukraine rejects peace negotiations.
