Sweden Declares the Pandemic Is Over
By Steve Kirsch
No more restrictions in Sweden. Other nations will follow. Last week, Denmark became the first EU country to lift almost all coronavirus restrictions. It was quickly followed by Norway, where Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store said society had to “live with” the virus.
The article says:
Unlike other European countries such as France and Spain which imposed draconian lockdown rules, Sweden’s COVID-19 death rate is comparatively better and the country is exiting the pandemic while other nations are refusing to lift restrictions for at least months more.
It also said:
The Scandinavian country did not enforce strict mask mandates, with senior epidemiologist Anders Tengell asserting that face coverings were in fact “dangerous” because they provided a false sense of security while failing to stop the spread of the virus.
Wow. Isn’t that stunning? A country that actually relies on an epidemiologist who understands science!
Paper from Johns Hopkins shows that Sweden got the response right; lockdowns were never needed and caused huge economic damage
Also of interest is the Hopkins study which you can learn about here. This was a very well done study that showed that Sweden’s approach was correct.
Conclusion is that the US response was totally uncalled for and Sweden got it right. Of course, the mainstream media in the US isn’t going to cover this:
While this meta-analysis concludes that lockdowns have had little to no public health effects, they have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted. In consequence, lockdown policies are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.
Meanwhile in high tech Silicon Valley…
Santa Clara County Health Officer Sara Cody still demands we wear masks (which everyone knows don’t work) and is mandating that our first responders get boosted or be fired. It’s not science based and is costing jobs and destroying lives for no benefit. Dr. Cody couldn’t care less.
